The Weller team are connecting with students wherever they are!
In Person: If schools are open to visitors, we are happy mask up and present our health education programs to students in class as we traditionally do (no fee)
Synchronous (virtual "live"): We are presenting all of our health education programs virtually using video conferencing. This method of program delivery allows us to reach students in the classroom as well as those working remotely and gives students additional synchronous instruction time (no fee).
Asynchronous (virtual pre-recorded): All of our health education programs have been broken down into 12-15 minute modules for educators to use with students remotely. Each lesson includes a "show what you know" worksheet (no fee).
All of our health education programs meet CDC and Pennsylvania State Education Standards and are presented by professional health educators who are experts at connecting with young people and translating even the most complex information into easy to understand concepts.
Our Story
For over three decades, Weller Health Education has partnered with schools to provide interactive research-based programs that help prevent chronic disease and improve children’s overall health, safety and well-being. Many schools rely on Weller as one of their main sources of preventive health education for students. Weller stays ahead of emerging health trends to create new programs that target the most pertinent health risks facing kids today, including:
depression and anxiety
prescription drug and heroin use
vaping/e-cigarettes
healthy relationships
building resilience and stress management skills.
